The above embedded video depicts 119 hours of active work on this piece. I setup my iPhone with a time lapse app (OSnap Photo App) to record one photo every five minutes. The video plays back at 12 frames per second (1 second = 1 hour real time).
The artwork is inspired in part by topographical maps. The paths repeating previous forms or traveling in new directions suggest a landscape, as well as provide soothing textures for the eye to explore.
Price: $1300. The Main Frame Gallery in Mt Pleasant, Mich., made the custom frame for this artwork. It is mounted on acid free board and protected by lightweight UV-blocking plexiglass.
